What’s been happening:

In addition to continuing my work as an Assistant Professor of History at Montgomery County Community College, this year I was invited to be a guest lecturer at The State Museum of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg. They are hosting an exhibition of post office murals that were created by painters during the New Deal. That coincided with my dissertation research on the four Arts projects sponsored by the WPA from 1935 until 1943. Curt Miner, a curator for the Museum, contacted me to invite me to give a lecture on African-American artists in the Federal Art Project. The lecture was presented on Saturday, February 21 and was received very well.
